Mezzo-soprano Sylvia Szadovszki completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music and her Master of Music and Diploma of Performance Studies at the University of British Columbia. Her most recent operatic highlights include Cenerentola in La Cenerentola with New York City Opera, Lydia in the world premiere of Second Nature with Lyric Unlimited/The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Pacific Opera Victoria, Edmonton Opera and Theater Hof (Germany), Tisbe in La Cenerentola with Edmonton Opera. With Vancouver Opera she sang Nancy in Albert Herring, Papagena in The Magic Flute, Kate in The Pirates of Penzance, and Hansel in Hansel and Gretel (VOIS).
